About the session

    Simone Sandolz

    Dr. Simone Sandholz is Associate Academic Officer in the Vulnerability Assessment, Risk Management & Adaptive Planning (VARMAP) section of United Nations University, Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS). She holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Innsbruck, Austria. In her research Simone focusses on different aspects of future-oriented urban vulnerability and risk analysis with an emphasis on urban areas. Among others she is senior scientist in a research project on linking critical infrastructure resilience to social vulnerability through minimum supply concepts.
