    BSI (Federal Office for Information Security), Head of Branch

    Dr. Timo Hauschild works for the German BSI, the Federal Office for Information Security. For the last 10 years he was working on critical infrastructures. Within this job he headed the public-private partnership UP KRITIS and implemented the German IT security law. Since the beginning of 2017, Dr. Hauschild leads the branch “Cyber Security for the Private Sector and Society” within BSI. He now is responsible for the cooperation with national and international partners on a more general level.Dr. Hauschild works at BSI sinse 2001 in different areas. He previously studied physics and journalism in Hamburg and Rouen and did his PhD thesis in Dresden and Grenoble.
