This presentation provides an industrial communications overview before discussing: reasons for connecting NI LabVIEW to industrial networks and PLCs; three methods to connect LabVIEW to any PLC; basic analogue and digital I/O; native industrial network communication; and OPC with LabVIEW DSC.
