Abstract
On 18 September 2007 Cisco and the IET announced their partnership to promote continued professional development within the Cisco Career Certifications community and the IET’s membership.This partnership will help address the global shortage of IT professionals and through their joint marketing initiatives the IET and Cisco will increase the visibility of education and career opportunities.As part of the partnership Cisco and the IET are holding a series of interviews on subjects of mutual interest to be shown on IET.tv using Cisco telepresence.The first of these: Effects of skills shortages in the IT industry.
