Abstract

Threats to our supply chain - material scarcity and its implications for Aerospace and other sectors Scarcity, politics and environmental legislation all threaten the availability of some critical materials that we rely on to manufacture components and equipment in various sectors including aerospace, defence, automotive, IT, electronics, and health. The seminar will address both the breadth of materials affected and the risks that need to be addressed with the opportunity to discuss and share potential mitigations. The seminar will be of interest to those involved in researching alternatives to design, process and manufacturing engineers in most industrial sectors as well as to procurement engineers in private and government organisations. This event is host to an array of expert speakers examining the issue of scarcity and critical materials from various viewpoints.
