About the session
Today's AI technology is incredible, yet its continued progress and proliferation into the world face significant challenges, such as its high compute cost and low adaptability. Brains in nature have evolved to solve exactly these problems, and now more than ever we stand to gain by studying nature's principles of brain computation and applying them to computer architecture and AI algorithms. This talk covers findings from Intel Labs' neuromorphic research and the evolution of its Loihi chips in the pursuit of faster, more efficient, and more adaptable AI.
