Abstract
Our daily lives are often surrounded by products made from plastic – from the plastic trays and bottles used to store our food, to baths, signs, footballs, drinking straws and even the clothes we wear. So how are these plastic products made?
This video is part of the IET Faraday's teaching resources developed in December 2015 as part of the BBC micro:bit programme and explores the process of vacuum forming that can be used to manufacture simple products from thermoplastics..
