About the session

Artificial intelligence is the latest buzzword in IT. Some say it will bring humanity its next golden age, others fear it will make human beings redundant. One thing is certain; artificial intelligence is an unstoppable force that will shape our society, and many industries are already benefiting from it today.

However, the construction industry has been slow to embrace artificial intelligence and the opportunities it brings. We will discuss some of the reasons behind this and suggest ideas on how the construction industry can overcome this reluctance, with the help of technologies such as predictive design.
