Abstract
We are living in an increasingly digitalised world and more digital technology is being used in schools, businesses and governments. But what should we consider when embracing these digital technologies? Did you know that false news spreads 6 times faster than the truth on Twitter? When we like, share or comment on social media we are also sharing personal data about ourselves. While digital skills are encouraged in workplaces and schools, digital ethic guidelines should also be considered. User awareness is crucial as we continue moving to a digital world.
