About the session

Do you want to hear about the latest advances in railway condition monitoring?  Do you want first hand insights into how (and how not to) project-manage large-scale construction projects?  Are you interested in listening to the latest research in ways we can make our railways safer and more reliable?

ICRE 2018 is your chance to hear about the latest ideas and innovations within the core areas of railway engineering that have the potential to improve the way we build, manage and maintain our railways.

The conference programme features 38 peer-reviewed technical presentations from more than 30 leading railway innovators, ensuring you keep up to date with the latest advances in railway technology whilst gaining access to disruptive thinkers and like-minded members of the railway community.

The conference has previously been organised every three years by the Hong Kong Railway Transport Section and, due to the huge success and popularity, the event now takes place in the interim years in the UK and EU, running in Brussels for the first time in 2016 and London in 2018.
