Abstract
2017 has been an incredibly busy year for the IET. We have launched a range of new products and services, such as the IET Academy to businesses. We’ve also held many excellent activities that have engaged our members and supported the global engineering community, including the First Lego League International Final, CIRED Conference and Exhibition in Glasgow, The Internet of Things Conference and Exhibition in India and ending the year with the IET’s Young Woman Engineer of the Year Awards. The IET has also welcomed Professor Polina Bayvel, Dr Delores Byrne, Dr Hermann Hauser and will.i.am as Honorary Fellows. Here’s just a snapshot of what’s been happening across the IET this year.
