About the session
Session 7.2 - A Year in Electrification at the MTC
Dr Marco Rivera
The MTC is an independent Research and Technology Organisation (RTO) with a remit for development of processes, systems, tools and technologies to support high-value manufacturing in the UK. With the increasing demand for Electric Vehicles (EVs), driven by ambitious climate targets, the demand for manufacturing R&D in the Electrification Sector is growing rapidly. Over the last 12-18 months the MTC has worked on a wide variety of projects spanning all aspects of electric power trains from batteries, power electronics, wiring and distribution to e-motors and drives.
This presentation aims to give the audience an overview of the MTCs project portfolio, including key results and potential next steps.
