    Marcel Schoemaker

Marcel completed his Bachelor degree in ‘Natural Sciences and Innovation Management’ at Utrecht University and has followed this with a Masters degree in ‘Innovation Sciences’ at Eindhoven University of Technology, where he developed his academic and critical thinking skills. Both degrees challenged him to create a bridge between what is technologically possible and what is socially feasible in terms of new product developments. The curriculum in both degrees consisted of both natural and social sciences courses which aimed to obtain a deeper understanding of innovation processes. During his Masters degree he also went on a one-year exchange at ETH Zurich.Marcel is fascinated at how innovations have such a big impact on our society and how quickly technological development takes place. He hopes that he will someday be in a position to add value to the successful development of technological innovations and, consequently, help to change society as a whole.
