A Business Case Approach to Investment

The water industry is facing pressures to drive the efficiency frontier whilst meeting ever greater regulatory requirements for improved service. Because of the nature of the water industry, we believe that there are huge potential benefits in integrated automation solutions. Feedback is that the industry vendors are not currently addressing the need for an integrated approach to these issues and our still offering product based solutions. The water industry recognises that it has a role to play in enabling this approach e.g. evolution of the framework to accommodate an integrated approach. Overall, there was a positive response to this value-based approach to investment and an appetite to pursue this further.
