Rhys became an active IET volunteer in July 2010 with the Wales South West Local Network and Young Professional Section. Later that year he also took on the responsibilities within Wales South East. He maintains the website for both Young Professional Sections and the Wales South East Local Network and also the region. Rhys also sits on the events planning sub-committees for both Local Networks providing interesting and varied speakers for both Local Network and Young Professional events.
