About the presentation
The aim of this seminar is to discuss the design and implementation of safety management frameworks to minimise the possibilities of injury on electrical power systems and ensure as far as possible, organisations are in a legally defendable position. The following areas will be discussed: safety management, design and installation of equipment, standards and integrity (BS-7671 2008), safety rules, availability and maintainability (HV & LV), Arc flash burns, PPE and arc containment, risk assessment, fault capability, machinery and process safety, emergency procedures and communications.
