About the presentation

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations (WEEE Regulations) were introduced in 2007 and affect any companies who manufacture or import Electrical or Electronic equipment.
The regulations are constantly being updated and there is new legislation in front of the European Parliament which will encourage reuse of appliances rather than recycling – this will have an impact on business strategy and product design.
This one day seminar will give an overview of the WEEE Regulations, examine the obligations placed on producers and distributors; look at methods of determining whether your company or products are in scope, and how you can use the regulations to your advantage. There will also be an update of recent and forthcoming changes in the Regulations.
