Einstein once said “Imagination is more important than Knowledge. Knowledge is limited – Imagination encircles the World” He also told us that “Anyone who has never made a mistake, has never tried anything new” This paper traces some of the implications of those words from the great man, and examines some of the significant challenges involved in Engineering Our Health.
About the speaker
Alan holds The Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion. Following a scientific and hospital-laboratory training, Alan has spent almost thirty years in Senior and Chief Executive positions in technological industries, working around the world with global companies such as Baxter Healthcare and Willett International. Alan’s recent appointments include entrepreneurship in establishments such as Cambridge and Xiamen (China) Universities.
