A Business Case Approach to Investment

• The water industry is facing pressures to drive the efficiency frontier whilst meeting ever greater regulatory requirements for improved service • Because of the nature of the water industry, we believe that there are huge potential benefits in integrated automation solutions • Feedback is that the industry vendors are not currently addressing the need for an integrated approach to these issues and our still offering product based solutions • The water industry recognises that it has a role to play in enabling this approach e.g. evolution of the framework to accommodate an integrated approach • Overall, there was a positive response to this value based approach to investment and an appetite to pursue this further.
