About the presentation
* We now live in a non-linear and chaotic (in the mathematical sense) world where everyone and everything is connected by networks. * Problems of unexpected and uncontrolled waves (tsunamis) of all forms of information cause bottlenecks in networks and society. * Our classical mathematics and algorithmic approaches can no longer address the scale of these problems. * At the same time, the exponential rate of knowledge creation means we all know relatively less year on year as a result. * The only solution for the human species is a symbiotic relationship with our machines.
