>> Play webcastThis 2010 IET John Logie Baird lecture will give attendees a glimpse into the thinking behind four senior names from the diverse world of multimedia communications. Titled ' A Day in the Life of a Multimedia Communicator' the evening panel sessions and talk will be held at Goldsmiths (part of the University of London).
The lecture will bring together senior names from the worlds of Multimedia talking about how they got into the industry,what they now do and what future projects they are working on. The evening will offer a 'Day in the Life of' insight into people working in the many areas of multimedia communications technology, to give a flavour of the speakers background, what they currently work on, to give a bigger picture and allow an insight to what is to come in the future.
The speakers are:
Brian Levy - former CTO of RedBee (BBC Technology)
Mike Short - VP Technology, O2 Group
Marian Ursu - Deputy head of Department of Computing, Goldsmiths
Each speaker will have a 15 minute slot, and there will be a panel session at the end.
