The goal was to create an engineering laboratory embedded inside a teaching hospital that would provide a unique opportunity to integrate the research and education of the engineering and medical communities. The laboratory is a mixing pot of engineering postdoctoral fellows and graduate students with medical research fellows and students who teach and learn from each other while synergistically creating technological solutions to healthcare problems.
Paradigm Shift in Defense andamp; Security Innovations http://tv.theiet.org/channels/inspec/16177.cfm
Audio presentation from 13/01/2013

In this presentation, Dr. Schmidt will discuss innovative trends in the defense and security industries.
