The IET Faraday is a practical online resource which will engage students by illustrating the application of Science, Design and Technology, Engineering and Maths in the real world. This innovative new resource is mapped against the new PoS and Engineering Diploma and includes high quality, interactive, multimedia activities to challenge students.
About the speaker
Dr David James (Outreach Manager, Sheffield Hallam University) specialises in the delivery of projects aimed at promoting the uptake of STEM subjects in further education by using the hook of sport, the development of secondary science curriculum resources using examples from the world of sport and evaluation of the impact of curriculum enrichment activities on student motivation and subject choices.
