Murdo Fraser MSP (Scottish Conservative) is Convener of the Parliamentâ€™s Economy, Energy and Tourism Committee and co-convenor of the Cross-Party Group on the Scottish Economy. He was Deputy Party Leader 2005-2011 and has been Spokesman on Health, Education and Enterprise & Lifelong Learning.
Dr Peter T Hughes OBE. Chief Executive of Scottish Engineering (the support and lobbying organisation for the manufacturing engineering industry in Scotland), a regular media spokesman on Scottish affairs. He was appointed OBE in 1993 for services to the UK Steel Industry, and elected Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in 1995.
