About the presentation
The key themes of the day are outlined. The benefits of increasing numbers of international scientists and engineers is compared with the risks, primarily of increasing dependency on international participation at all levels. Over the course of the day, key concerns will be developed into policy questions and solutions.
About the speaker
Nick Dusic joined CaSE as its Director in December 2007. He is responsible for the management of the organisation and leading its policy and media activities. Nick has an MSc in geography from University College London. His career in science policy started as intern at the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology. He has worked as a Policy Officer for the Associate Parliamentary Sustainable Waste Group and as the British Ecological Society’s Science Policy Manager.
